Refresh and Restart

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

Just like a personal computer, your mind needs to refresh and restart. The problem is we have so many buttons and codes imprinted in our brain, including the physical and light body that it is hard to be aware of the sequence of emotional triggers that may cause an emotional drain. The wires and connection are installed, learned, by our environment. By changing the environment we live in mentally and spiritually, I guess it does not matter if you live in a war zone. We may be able deal with our present situation with where we live inside our head and spirit. After all, isn’t the concept of belief and faith an intangible concept. Yet some individuals have belief and faith so deeply rooted in their psyche that they can relocate from their present environment. Not by escaping to somewhere else, by refreshing and restarting your frame of mind and maybe changing locations within dimensional space time sequences.

Now

What does it mean to be free from thought? Is it the same as being in the moment. Living for today can be a chore when our thoughts only wander from past to future. I cannot understand why the human brain never stops thinking. What drives the brain to continue this incessant chatter and noise? Sometimes I think thoughts hold up the illusion we create for ourselves. The processing never ends, even in our sleep, thoughts continue in our dreams. The mind may sometimes be difficult to manuever but with practice, the mind can be cultivated to focus on one thing, and one thought only. Although this excercise is easier said than done, it does not necessarily take a long time to be focused on a single object. I sometimes play a game telling myself that if I did not understand language or know my ABCs what would my senses be paying attention to?  The now I suppose. No labeling, no naming or comparing, just being.
